Welcome
If you’re here, then you want to improve your guitar or bass playing, or start learning from scratch.
Maybe you are a complete beginner and want to know you are doing things right from the get-go.
Maybe you have been left disappointed from larger teaching studios that over-promise but under-deliver.
Or maybe you’re self-taught but are seeking guidance from someone who can help you glue together the gaps in your knowledge and correct your technique.

I have been teaching guitar and bass for 12 years, and in that time I have helped hundreds of people attain the skills and knowledge that has led them to fulfil their musical aspirations. In my 18 years of learning about music, music theory, guitar, techniques, tone, effects, and music production, I have developed a wealth of information which I am passionate about sharing with others. Since completing a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Performance with honours at the Jazz Music Institute in 2018, I have played in a wide range of settings and configurations, from contemporary bands, covers bands, to jazz groups and duos. I offer my clients a comprehensive music education which will be relevant to their goals.

Everyone has different goals. Perhaps you want to:
- Join or start a band and play gigs.
- Comprehend music theory and attain greater fretboard visualisation.
- Learn how to strum a few chords and use a capo so you can accompany yourself or a singer.
- Improvise great solo’s using a wide range of techniques from your technical quiver.
- Learn how to become the grooving, melodic hearbeat of a band on the Bass guitar.
- Or perhaps you’d like inform your songwriting with a solid foundation in functional music theory, so you can find the ‘right’ notes/chords quickly.
